The Zafu is the traditional round pleated cushion used by meditators
all over the world. This zafu is a round traditional meditation
cushion with pleated sides. The cover is made of a heavy duty
fabric. We hand stuff our zafus with natural kapok so that they
will not collapse after a few sittings. All our zafus are double-stitched

Buckwheat Zafu and Zabuton Set

The cover is made of a heavy duty fabric. The zafu is stuffed
with buckwheat hulls. All our zafus are double-stitched for
extra strength and come with a carrying handle. Each zafu is
approximately 14" in diameter and 7" in height and
and weight 6 - 7 lbs. The zabuton is filled with natural kapok
inside layers of cotton batting. The batting is packed to provide
solid support, and yet is soft and comfort. The outer cover
is made of a heavy duty fabric and has a zipper along one length
so that it can be easily removed and washed. Inside the cover,
the batting is enclosed in a casing. Each zabuton is 31" long
by 29" wide and fits people up to 5' 11" tall.

Hulls and a zippered opening to adjust the level of the hulls.
The Zabuton is filled with a 3" thick layer of cotton batting
that is tufted in five places to prevent movement and bunching

Drishti Zafu
The Drishti zafu, or traditional meditation cushion,
is buckwheat-filled with a cotton cover. The buckwheat is useful
because it forms to fit the shape of your sitting bones. Rather
than sitting right in the middle of your zafu, we recommend scooting
a little toward the front edge, as this will help angle your
pelvis and your knees will have an easier time finding the ground.
A convenient handle on the side of the zafu allows for easy portability.
These zafus are perfect for seated meditation, but they also
work wonderfully as seats for low tables and floor-sitting in
