Clear Sky Calgary is a group of Calgary-based students and teachers associated with Clear Sky Meditation & Study Foundation, a non-profit teaching & retreat center in the mountains near Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Established by Achariya Doug Duncan Sensei in 2004, Clear Sky is dedicated to providing an environment for practice and study in order to awaken beings to a radiant, clear and blissful mind state. Focusing on Buddhadharma and other universal, non-sectarian teachings, Clear Sky seeks to motivate and inspire students from around the world, now and for generations to come. Clear Sky represents a teaching lineage created by Ven. Namgyal Rinpoche, the great Canadian-born lama who was recognized as a tulku by the heads of all four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism (including His Holiness the Dalai Lama).
