Shôkôzan Denshinji Temple is a member of the Japanese Religious Federation SÔTÔ-SHÛ which is the authority of the Soto lineage in Zen Buddhism tradition.
Since March 2006, there is a subsidiary in French Caribbean prefecture-island Martinique called "Denshinji - Centre Zen Martinique".
