The Eightfold Path taught by the Buddha does not belong to any sect or school. If we were to single out one truth as the key to the Buddha's teachings it would be the Fourth Noble Truths — the truth of the way, the way to the end of Dukkha — the Noble Eightfold Path.
That path includes morality, wisdom and meditation or concentration.
In the Eightfold Path wisdom consists of right effort, mindfulness and concentration. In this section we present teachings on meditation from across the spectrum of Buddhist traditions, both traditional and modern.
Teachings on wisdom are found throughout the DharmaNet Learning Center.
