meditating lying down
Meditation helps to make the mind clearer. You might
think that you do not have enough time to do it, but there is a way
to meditate that can be easily managed on a daily basis — meditation
in the lying-down position.
You can lie down either on your side
or on your back. The traditional posture is lying on the right side
with the right arm bent and the head resting on the palm of the right
hand; the left arm resting along the body. However, you might find
it more comfortable to lie on your back, with a small pillow‘ under
your head. You can lie like this on your bed before going to sleep
and when you wake up in the morning. lf it is a warm day, you could
go and lie down in the grass outside. Lying down can be the most
relaxing meditation posture. The only thing you need to do is lie
still and at ease.
